“Your heart is broken,” says Rob Gallo. “There’s a piece of your heart that is always missing.” Riley Gallo, Rob’s son, would have been 13 this year had it not been for the brain tumour that took his young life at the age of 5. Since this time, his former schoolmates and teachers at École St-Denis in Sudbury have kept his memory alive by hosting a series of yearly fundraisers in support of cancer research at the Northern Cancer Research Foundation (NCRF).

Over the last several weeks, the participants of the brand new Business Program at St. Albert Adult Learning Centre have been working hard to identify and refine both their verbal and non-verbal communication skills. In order to demonstrate their new understanding of the subtle differences in non-verbal communication, each group created and videotaped two different mock interview scenarios.
