Man charged in Chelmsford home break-in also had unprescribed medications

A 28-year-old man will appear in bail court Monday after a Chelmsford home was broken into Saturday and more than $10,000-worth of property and currency taken.
Greater Sudbury Police say a Falcon Street residence was broken into Saturday evening and items such as electronic goods, jewelry and money were taken.
On Sunday morning, the owner of the residence saw a man carry some of the stolen items into a garage on the same street. Police were called and learned the man was homeless but storing his belongings in the garage.
The officers also found the victim's stolen property in the garage. The man was also found to be in possession of three different types of controlled pills including Oxycocet that had not been prescribed to him.
The man is charged with break, enter and theft, posesssion of property obtained by crime, mischief, possession for the purpose of trafficking, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
